Browser Safe Cluts - Lynda Wynman's ftp site for browser safe color palettes.
FreeHand, Painter, Photoshop, Photo-Paint, Paint Shop Pro and the Windows 16 color palette and the Windows95 (256 colors) palette.

The HTML palette - This is a page of color samples created entirely in HTML
You must have MSIE 2.0 or Netscape 3.0 or later to view it properly because it adjusts the colors of table cells.

Gif Wizard - Send your gifs through the Gif Wizard and shrink it's file size.

Producing animated gifs - Shareware available for Mac and PC.

Monitor Gamma - Why your monitor looks different than others - by Robert Berger.

Html 4.0 Standards - What the W3 Consortium is pushing to be the standard.
Founded in October 1994 to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing common protocols that promote its evolution and ensure its interoperability.

Backgrounds - Netscape's list of textures and backgrounds galore.

More backgrounds - How to create a seamless tile in Photoshop by Bruce Heavin.
